Description

Making their first fall Classic appearance in 23 years, the 1968 Detroit Tigers proved ready and able as they overcame a three games-to-one deficit to win it all. These (3) Adirondack (34-oz/34-1/2”) “155B” block-letter bats were issued to infielder Don Wert for that October showdown. The uncracked white ash weapons all bear the “Tee Pee” center brand consistent with the labeling period. One shows light use with surface marks on the barrel. The other two show no use. LOA from Don Wert.

Note: the winning bidder has the option of having these items autographed (with choice of personalization/inscription, if wanted) by Wert at no extra cost.
