On his way to NBA MVP, Rookie of the Year and single-season scoring record plaudits, Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain began pouring in 50 or more points per game with frightening regularity during the 1959-60 campaign. Setting the precedent for his famous 100-point outing in 1962, Chamberlain torched the New York Knicks for 58 points on February 21, 1960 at Madison Square Garden to mark his third of a record 118 games with at least 50 points. This ticket stub was issued at the famed Manhattan venue for that blowout Chamberlain performance. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, the “Mezzanine” voucher features printed seating/event details and maintains razor sharp edges/corners. An uneven admission tear and discoloration on opposite corners account for the technical assessment. The reverse is immaculate and only adds to the item’s appeal as a scarce survivor from the “introduction” of true hoops dominance.
