How many of these have you seen? Fueled by an early version of the "$10,000 Infield", the 1910 Philadelphia Athletics bested the Chicago Cubs over five games to capture their first World Series title. Picturing scores of Hall of Famers and other catalysts are these two team composite postcards from the league champions. Each graded 60 EX 5 by SGC, included are striking renditions of 1910 Philadelphia Athletics--American League Champions: (only graded, 23 players and manager depicted) featuring Baker, Bender Collins, Mack, Plank; 1910 Chicago Cubs--National League Champions: (1 of 2, none better, 24 players and manager shown) with M. Brown, Chance, Evers and Tinker. The 5-1/4 x 3-1/2" antiquities are crease-free with solid perimeters while the correspondence sections are clean.
