Description



These (2) OAL Harridge baseballs are signed by members of the 1959 Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers, respectively. On opposite paths to begin the campaign, the Indians raced to a 10-1 start, while their Great Lakes counterparts started just 1-12. Both contended but ultimately fell short of the Chicago White Sox in the A.L. pennant chase. Includes:

1959 Cleveland Indians a clean creamy orb (grade 8-9) with (29) signatures (average 8 strength) including: Sweet Spot: Gordon (clubhouse); North Panel: Held, Garcia, Perry, Minoso, Bell and Lobe (coach); South Panel: Valo, Strickland, Power, Ferrarese, Score, Brodowski and Kress (coach); West Panel: Baxes, McLish, White (coach), Fitz Gerald, Colavito and Brown; East Panel: Webster, Nixon, Hamner, Francona, Cicotte, Locke, Lemon, Harder (coach) and Martin
