Trivia: of the original Toronto Blue Jays, who was the last to depart? Hats off to all who said “Ernie Whitt.” This Toronto Blue Jays warm-up jacket was worn by the Detroit-born backstop during the franchise’s inaugural seasons. The blue satin-like button-down garment features the club’s Canadian-themed logo embroidered to a white twill plate on the left breast, while “WHITT” is arched atop the back in white twill. Blue stretch ribbed knit lines the collar, waistline and sleeve endings and the collar is home to a “Wilson” size “44” label. Minimal wear is evident.
