As stars like Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams launched circuit clouts throughout the 1950s, the Reach company had all it could do to keep up with production of Official American League (Harridge) baseballs. This original retail display container and (5) individual boxes housed OAL Harridge spheres during the 1950s. The 12x9 cardboard container was crafted to snugly fit one dozen orbs, each in its individual cardboard box. Inside, there are (5) of those individual boxes. While the baseballs have long-since disappeared to diamonds, the container and boxes present nicely, with minimal edge/corner wear and no separation. It should be noted that there are handwritten notations on the container and each individual box.
