The 1960s were an amazing period in Baseball history culminating in the beginning of divisional play with league expansion to twenty-four teams. Presented are a c.1960 set of (16) “mid-size” pennants and a 1969 Milton Bradley Official Baseball board game. The pennant collection is very attractive displaying vivid colors and clean surfaces. The board game shows evidence of being unused despite moderate signs of wear on the box lid. The inside of the box lid states there are (300) player cards included, surprisingly our count total is well in excess of (600) cards averaging EX/MT in condition. More on our website.
The Milton Bradley game includes a color photo pitch/hit screen which is perforated for folding, this screen does not appear to have been folded over. There is a plain cardboard support board beneath the main playing board. Both boards have slots for standing up the player cards, half of the slots in the secondary board have tabs which have not been punched out. The perforated edge player cards are very clean and overall they appear to be in original condition. The box lid displays bold colors and photos with light scuffing and separations at two corners. The box base has a separation at one corner. The interior playing surface and other contents have a like new appearance with deference to the player list pamphlet which has pen marks.
